Plywood is a sheet material manufactured from thin layers or "plies" of wood veneer that are glued together with adjacent layers having their wood grain rotated up to 90 degrees to one another.this gives the material its strength. The more veneers used, the stronger the plywood becomes. Both the type of glue and veneers determine the suitability of a sheet for a particular application. Plywood is graded for exterior or interior use depending upon the water resistance of the glue used to stick the plies together. The finish quality of plywood varies considerably, some plywood have attractive grains while others can contain knots. Some can even be faced with film, melamine paper or polyester to meet certain requirements, such as wearable, water-proof, fire-proof, etc. Combining a beautiful natural veneer surface with a durable core, our plywood provides the strength of lumber, but with greater efficiency and versatility. It can even be shaped or formed for curved applications.
